I'm using my Klipsch 600M hooked up to a 200W external preamplifier(bi-polar wire connections) which is then hooked up to my 24k bit DAC external sound blaster box which is hooked up to my computer's 3.0 USB port. My computer's mother board is a ASUS Z390 that has an Intel 9900 microprocessor and 64GB of memory. When I crank-up the volume- outstanding sound performance - watch a movie or just playing a game - great sound quality !!! So I learn about High Frequency and Low Frequency on my Klipisch 600M bi-polar connections - what I found out is that all High Frequency sound levels will ONLY go through the tweeter and all Low Frequency sound level will go through the woofer- this is what makes the sound performance from the Klipisch 600M speakers so outstanding ! There's no static noise or thd noise, what so ever! You really have to buy these speakers - I bought these speaker as an "open box" - I paid $439.00 - cosmetics on my speaker were excellent - no scratches or smudge marks- just like brand new. Originally these speakers go for $550.00 brand new. The 600M models are known as Book Shelf speakers. I'm really happy with these speakers are on my computer system - totally awesome!!! I strongly recommend you get these speakers. Even checkout the You Tube clips on these speakers. Klipisch wasn't kidding when they stated about their speakers - " Keeper of the Sounds" . As a long time Klipsch enthusiast, I had an expectation of what to expect from these. I've had many different Klipsch products over the years and non of them have disappointed me. These have kept up that tradition. These are a well designed, well made and outstanding performing pair of speakers. I bought these on sale, so the value was better than if I paid list, but I still think for cost of list price these are incredible speakers. To start, as a book shelf speaker, these will/don't put out earth rumbling low end. What is there is really, really good. To get down to it, get a sub(which I have and use)to get the low end. Where these speakers shine is mid/highs. The horn loaded tweeter is nothing short of spectacular. The woofer is more of low/mid, but I've covered that already. This is a very lively, active sounding speaker. It's been working for all sorts of music for me:rock(classic, fusion, prog, heavy metal, etc.), funk, jazz, smooth jazz, classical/opera, movie scores, these do it all. I'm particularly fond of gaming music and this really worked well with that too. Haven't used them as a theater speaker and don't plan to, but I would imagine that they will work well in that function. These took a week or two to "break in", about 50 or so hours of use, and they really opened up. Any review I read online, or viewed on youtube, was spot on with these. Highly recommended. Siimply put, I'm a retro Pioneer stereo guy. I have 5x Pioneer stereo systems running in my house. However, I will use any brand of speakers that are 'very good'. I read the reviews on the Klipsch RP600M's and thought I would take a shot at them. They are 'very good' as well as having very good details in voices and highs for musical instruments because Klipsch's trademark is that they use horn tweeters. These are some of the brightest and best bookshelf speakers that I have had to pleasure to listen to. Klipsch. Well worth the purchase with no regret.
