Ok, so the box is rather heavy but manageable. If you've ever been to IKEA, bought Sauder products, or anything that requires some assembly...this should be an easy little project. I would recommend acquiring a small bottle of wood glue, though not required it would shore things up a bit. Okay enough rambling. The assembly was more tedious than difficult and, with only a couple of minor exceptions, went together rather well. Just be sure to pay attention to the screw hole alignment when attaching the bench lid supports (you'll see what I mean). Anyway, got it put together in about an hour and set it up in our kitchen. Looked good and even matched our cabinets. It isn't fine furniture, but you should know that going in. However, it certainly works well for us. Once assembled, it provides a sturdy little nook to enjoy breakfast, lunch or whatever.Read full review

Ok so packaged came, my husband set out all the parts laid out. He went through each board 1by1. We, found 1cracked wood which is the diamond shaped sitting board. Not too happy about that, possibly can crack all the way if too much weight is applied. A little dent on another and 1 shipped on the side of a board. Other than that we'll see how it goes. Instructions are reasonable. Although applying a bit on string glue can help it's structure. Hoping the dimensions of the screws will fit in easily. Might want to have Good tool drilling equipment in handy. Wish Me Luck!!

Easy to assembly and it looks nice once it's done. The storage in the bench seats is a nice touch. The only downside is the wood. Very soft, light weight pine. Easy to dent (mine came with a few dents from shipping) but I'll live with it as it isn't worth the hassle of a return. You may need to use some larger size screws in a few holes as well. With the wood being so soft, it's easy to over tighten a screw thus creating a larger hole. The table is very very light. It slides around on our tile floor too easily. I'll probably find a way to screw some weights to the underside of the table to make it heavier. However; for the price, I feel it was a good purchase.

This set was purchased and put together by me. I was not compensated in any way shape or form for the review. This is a solid pine set. NOT particle board. Set went together easily and used conventional screws, not garbage cam locks. There were absolutely no surprises and the packaging included instructions on how to go about getting replacement parts should your package be missing any. It is from China. They sell the cushions for the set on Ebay and elsewhere but honestly they're not needed as it's just that comfortable. We were used to a tall table so that part takes some getting used to. I was fortunate in that I didn't measure to make sure it would fit in the space in my kitchen, but it did, perfectly. Doesn't wobble, creak. Feels super solid and is doing great. Would highly recommend this over anything new in stores as it's all just garbage particle board.Read full review

This nook once completely assembled is quite nice for the money. However, it comes with A Lot Of Assembly Required. My suggestion is to make sure your kids have been shuffled off to school or Grandmother’s house before you start putting it together so they don’t have to hear all the cussing. If you’re handy with tools it not horrible but it takes about 3 hours to complete. Once complete it looks nice and seems to be durable.
