I had spent a few bucks on cables from China that looked good - they had a braided caver, and it seemed that the shrink-wrap tubing would provide some strain relief. Not so -- the shrink-wrap was way too soft and stretchy, and the first time I stepped on it and pulled it out of the guitar, the connection broke. Rather than solder up, I ordered some of the regular Kirlin cables. Those were a great improvement, but I ordered 20-ft cables, and soon found that I would do better still with a shorter cable. So I ordered some 10-footers, this time in the Premium cable. The Kirlin Premium really is a cut above the rest. I was surprised at the signal strength going direct-to-board -- It may have been a full 3dB higher, which is a lot just for replacing a cable. I'm sold -- Kirlin Premium really seems to be a top cable for the price.Read full review
