Theses are the magazine’s everyone should be making no need to choose between basepads. The small one fits flush with a mag well, if you want a big one just slide it off. They provide 2 metal bottom pieces that have the threaded holes for the basepads already there. No drilling and jigs and then it’s not lined up. I wish theses were around 30 years ago when I started shooting 1911’s

I found the current Kimber mags to worked flawlessly for me in my 3" Ultra RCP, but when it came time to get some additional mags, I went with the KimPro Tac mag simply because it wasn't much more than $5 additional over the standard ones and you get the swappable base plates, better spring, and coated follower.

Got the Wife the Ultra she has been wanting. Bought a couple extra Kimber mags for the breakin period, but they just weren’t up to par. Finish was different than the ONE that came with it, and fit just didn’t seem right, even being genuine Kimber. Bought the Kim-Pros for their bump pads to add to the bottom, and OH BOY !!! These are the JAZZ !!! Fit and finish is great, bump pads help with controlling the pinky finger, and the fit is tight and flush and...... nothing but Kim-Pros from here on out !!!!!!
