Makes my smart lock even smarter.
I received a Kevo Smart Lock with the purchase of a new home. I heard about the Kevo Plus but was not certain if I would need a $100 device to allow me to control the lock remotely. Now that I have it, I would highly recommend it. I am able to lock and unlock my front door using Alexa (in my home and my car), I can check on the status of the lock, and I can integrate with my Ring doorbell. Nice for one person, and that one person only.
It will pair easily and quickly to your account. I find it works much more reliably than phone BT. Con: It will only pair with your account, not with the lock. If you want to share this internet connection access with other people, you'll have to share your admin account with them. Sharing e-keys will not share access. Though you could create a dummy e-mail and account and share that with everyone you want to give access to... but then everyone sharing the account would have to change passwords if you wanted to remove one persons access.
