I have had many copies of the KJV in my lifetime, but I never experienced the 1611 version until now. The archaic spelling, interchangeable use of "u" and "v," the absence of the letter "j," etc. are all forcing me to concentrate more intensely on the richness of the language and the brilliant clarity of word choice. I find myself pondering details of scripture that I somehow glanced over before...taking way too much for granted in my attempt to read through in a faster, more modern cadence. Now I find myself lingering over phrases and really taking them in. This has been fantastic experience. Thank you!
