3 stars because alarm is functional only when you open doors, motion wise nothing. I recommend for those looking for keyless entry with a remote and forced entry and opened door, to give you an example I washed my car with alarm set it did not sound off. That is my 3rd Viper alarm for 3 different cars. Now am looking for a motion sensor that can adapt to the alarm in question. Can anyone recommend a motion sensor?Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

So good and so cheap
Works amazing and it’s so cheap. It was so easy to install too. Just power, ground, the wire to the relay for the siren and you just hook up the trigger wire from the doors and trunk and voila! Your alarm system works. And if you want, you can wire in the lights to flash too and the doors to unlock with the key fob. I was amazed at how simple this was to install. Make sure to go buy some T - taps before you begin the install though. It will make your life way easier. Also don’t forget to get some 4 pin relays.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Didnt last
After 6 months or so the unlock stopped working. Then a month later the lights would stay on then would not start. had to undo starter bypass. Finally had to disconnect alarm all together.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good alarm for price
This is a good all around one way alarm. Used this to replace a Viper 3100 that was installed many years ago. Very easy to wire up. Added bonus is that the starter interrupt is integrated into the unit and a separate relay is no longer needed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
