The Juniper EX4200-24T is not only a flexible and high-performance networking device with stackable switches, but also a quality network switcher with a basic fixed configuration. The Juniper EX4200-24T offers many great features and is also extremely easy to set up. The proprietary Virtual Chassis technology connects up to 10 switches in a single device, and the Juniper EX4200 is a device that enables scalability for growing installations. The EX4200 offers a full suite of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching capabilities as part of the included software. Juniper EX4200-24T is suitable for use with high-performance network applications, such as branch, campus, data center access control, and access deployments. Juniper networks have field-proven technology, including the Route Engine, which brings the same level of performance and reliability to the Juniper EX4200-24T that you have become accustomed to with Juniper’s name and reputation. Juniper routers bring the world’s largest service provider networks to your home or office. Juniper Networks EX4200-24T uses an Ethernet data link protocol and has PC compatibility. With 24 ports, this series of Juniper networking hardware provides for the needs of today as well as the scaling options of tomorrow. Other useful features of this Juniper series includes hot swap module replacement, routing, layer 3 and layer 3 switching, DHCP support, ARP support, MPLS support, and VLAN support. The Juniper EX4200-24T network management solution also includes high availability, non-stop routing, and has an LCD display. It’s stackable and appropriate for enterprise-wide policy-based routing. The switching protocol is Ethernet and the connectivity technology is wired. Flash memory and RAM memory are 1GB, making the Juniper EX4200-24T a suitable compact, fixed-configuration solution that deploys easily in campus installations as well as in 1 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) access environments in a data center. Juniper’s Virtual Chassis technology can be used to connect 10 EX4200 Switches as single, logical device. This allows you to deliver a scalable solution that’s perfect for growing campus installations. The EX4200 can be combined with EX4500 and EX4550 Switches in the same Virtual Chassis to support mixed environments. Juniper EX4200 supports 10/100/1000BASE-T with both 24- and 48-port configurations. A 24-port fiber configuration is also available for gigabit aggregation in long-distance deployments. Uplinks include four-port GbE or two-port 10GbE copper or fiber configurations, both with and without Media Access Control Security (MACsec) capabilities. Juniper technology is field-proven, and carrier-class architecture coupled with Junos OS enables EX Series switches to provide carrier-class reliability for every application. Security risk management integrates Unified Access Control to help EXSeries Switches dynamically deliver network protection, guest access, and identity-based QoS. Wire-speed performance dramatically simplifies network topologies and operations, and eight QoS queues per switch port ensure proper prioritization of voice, video, and multiple levels of data traffic. With Juniper, there’s room to converge other networks, such as building automation and video security systems. The Juniper EX4200 is an innovative, cost-effective networking switch hardware design that enables new architectures that reduce cost and complexity while unified management and automation tools consolidate system monitoring and enhance enterprise solutions.
