    Great bang-for-the-buck

    These knifes look good, they are very sharp right out of the box, and they offer good quality for the money. Yes, you could spend more, perhaps a LOT more, but unless you're trying to show off to your rich friends, these are all you need.T he three sizes take care of every cutting need, except perhaps for things like the classic way to peel an apple, for example. For that, a shorter thinner classic pairing knife would be better. And, of course, every kitchen needs a heavy conventional chef's knife for cutting through chicken bones. But for normal slicing tasks, these knives are perfect. The longer knife is particularly good at slicing flank steak, which should be sliced across the grain at a low angle into very thin slices so that this notoriously difficult cut of meat is easy to ...

    Don't expect the head of the handle to be marble that's just a wrap but if you put the time in setting and sharpening the blades they're a great set for the price shipping takes forever though
