When your finances dont correspond with your desire for excellence, Products like the JP Enterprises Enhanced Reliability Spring Kit is something you should consider with confidence. These springs change the feel of the trigger thus changing the feel and performance of the gun. Taking your MilSpec trigger and allowing it to perform feel like a few Aftermarket options on the market without the cost. This kit will decrease the pull weight of your MilSpec Trigger, but the actual pull weight will depend on the condition of the Trigger. In order to reach the advertised 3.5lbs pull weight, some smithing (Polishing on the Trigger) will be required. You can expect a pull weight of 4 to 5 pounds if you install without doing any other work on the trigger. -Most users can install them, and it is probably 5 minutes of work for an experienced Gunsmith. -I highly recommend this upgrade to anyone wanting to improve their AR without breaking the bank. -You may experience Light Primer Strikes with some Ammunition (Ive only experienced this with Steel Cased Ammo). -Improved Trigger feel for less than $20, and a few minutes of work? Why not? -Trigger Pull gets a little lighter over time once the trigger has been worked in. -May Require Gunsmithing in order to get the pull weight you desire as well as keeping it safe. -Does not turn your MilSpec Trigger into a Competition Grade Trigger, this kit is not intended for that and doesnt imply that. 4-5 pounds can be expected. *3.5lbs is only attainable with precise gunsmithing or by using these Springs with a JP trigger designed for that pull weight. This is the Spring Set JP uses in their Single Stage Competition/Precision Triggers. Expect 4-5 lbs trigger pull when used with a MilSpec Trigger.Read full review

I got this, like many others, as an affordable trigger upgrade. My rifle was at about 8 lbs before I installed theses springs. Based on reviews, I could tell I wasn’t likely to get under 4 lbs, but I was hoping for closer to 5. After I installed it, I am now sitting at just about 6 lbs. It did lower my trigger pull by 25% from 8 lbs down to 6 lbs. For the price that helps, just got my hopes up a little higher from the discription.

I installed the spring kit on my American Tactical AR. I followed a video online, which was simple and had it installed in about 15 minutes. Right away I could tell the difference in the trigger pull. I took it out to fire off a few rounds with absolutely no issues. I was using steel jacketed ammo, which can sometimes be funny about the hammer hit. no issues at all. i highly recommend this kit for a quick, inexpensive and easy upgrade.

I replaced the spring assembly on my Springfield Spirit with this kit. What a difference! The JP kit was easy to install. With the one small spring in the kit, I recommend you perform this operation over a smooth cloth (no bounce and the spring won't roll away.) If you have a gun vise use it, if you don't, have a friend or your wife/kid hold the lower unit. Much easier that way than by yourself. Results are: improved marksmanship and less finger fatigue. I recommed this kit for the good value of easy installation and enjoyable target practice. I consider this kit to be of high quality for materials, installation and results. Thanks.

Installation of the JB 3.5 lb spring kit was easy. However one must polish the fire control parts before installing in order to support trigger pull reduction. I reduced trigger pull in my Anderson Lower from stock 6 lbs to 4.5 lbs. super satisfied with results.
