amazingly long which makes it perfect for swimming. a lot of work to prepare the site and water to fill the pool was very expensive. ( i am on a well) however my wife is madly in love with the pool and is in it every day. the available skimmer is a must for the pool and should have been a standard item. and this pool cost about 10% of what a similar in ground pool would have, so good deal.

Pump quit working after 6 days. Pump was leaking a tar substance when i opened the box, dont know if that had something to do with it. Been waiting on intex to send a new one. Haven't got to use the pool much. Looks like a nice pool for the price as long as the pump holds up.

The ladder is pretty rickety and not very easy for older people to use. The children are unsure using it also. I think we will probably build a stronger ladder. Other than the ladder problem, the pool is really nice.

So far so good. Nice pool and well built. Setup is pretty straight forward but takes about twice as long as advertised. Make sure your ground is level and use heavy pavers or treated wood to set the supports on. I used 1.5" thick paving stones and it snapped them like twigs. Also make sure to sink whatever you use in the ground so that its top is even with the grade the pools sits on. The pool will not fully expand if they are the least bit elevated, think of it as a rotating triangle as the pool fills. My kids love the pool and I have no doubt it was money well spent.

We love it. There have been no issues with the pool being faulty at all, but I feel bad for those who had encountered them. We placed extra padding under the pool since the one provided is flimsy and not waterproof. We have found with our other above ground pools that putting a tarp right under the pool will seal it any small holes if they should develop because of the weight of the pool and the weight of the filled water. We also did not put sand underneath because we were testing the location in our back yard and I couldn't imagine digging up all that sand and moving it if the location was not ideal. It is perfect, but because we are in Virginia where we aren't willing to chance keeping it up through winter, we'll have to deconstruct it and put it up again next Spring. Maybe we'll use sand then, and, honestly, we don't know how the deconstruction and putting it up again will go. So far, the only down side has been how much Intex said to clear around the pool. They suggest 5 to 6 feet and my husband did only 5 and it is still was too much and we were left with all this dirt around the pool and had to buy artificial sod to cover the dirt. I can't talk about the ladder being substantial or not as we use a deck we bought from Lowe's for a pool we had before this one. As a side note, I did read that another buyer was happy with the amount of dirt excavated. The sand filter provided does a wonderful job unlike other filters we've had for different pool. We use chemicals (on the low side) and not a salt water system. VM Express did an awesome job delivering it.Read full review
