I have other versions of Intellivision Lives for different game systems. This is the first I've seen with the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons/Cloudy Mountain title. Here it is called Crown of Kings. The sequel is also here with a different name, Monotaur. I was overjoyed to see these included. Unfortunately there is no key for arrow count, and you cannot hear how many arrows the spiders are pilfering. You can get run down by an injured dragon because you didn't know you were out of arrows. Speaking of counting, there are some serious problems with two of the Intellivoice titles. Bomb Squad is missing some of the necessary dialogue in the circut screen. And worst of all, Space Spartains cannot calculate the number of aliens left to destroy, and will not announce the energy level of your ship--two very critical pieces of information in the game. It would have been nice if the developers had actually played the games before releasing. Many of the games are true to the original, and it is delightful to be able to take them anywhere. Some games will even hold your high scores. Also the graphics--being on a smaller screen--almost seem better only because you cannot see the blocky pixels as well. And the colors are bright and beautiful. This may possibly be the best version of Intellivision Lives! ever made. The reason is that the DS seems to be the closest modern controller to the original Intellivision keypad. (The PS2 version required you to call up a control pad every time there was not a key assigned on the PS2 controller.) The obvious glitches are only a drop in the bucket. There are many great memories in this collection. Intellivision fans should not miss this title. I am still waiting for one of my favorite Intellivision titles to be included in Intellivision Lives!--Lock'n'chase.Read full review
I have not played all the games yet but great memories from my Intellivision set in ‘80s. They do an excellent job of putting the game keypad on the 3DS touchpad. Nicely done.

have not played the intellivision lives yet for ds, but have it for the pc from blue sky rangers who originally sold it. i had original intellivision games when they were first released back in the 80's and played them on the old system, great colelction of the best classic games intellivision came out with plus some extra ones. i was interested in purchasing this for the ds since it makes use of a simulated keypad that the original intellivision system used. this is done on the bottom-second screen of the ds, the first is used for the game itself. i have yet to buy a nds, waiting for the price to drop after xmas, either that will buy the 3nds since the price had already dropped and seems like it will be a great platform!
