Great drive for enthusiasts and pros... not for typical computer users though
Awesome speed and endurance. Rated for 10 DWPD (drive writes per day) for 5 years. Switches to 'read-only' mode when endurance is used up. Typical SSD endurance is more like 0.3 DWPD so this blows that away. Now... that said I doubt most people will notice much of a performance improvement over a decent NAND based SSD, so this is definitely an 'enthusiast' or 'professional' drive. I wouldn't recommend that typical computer users pay this much money for an SSD when you can get much cheaper ones with higher capacity. 5 stars overall... but not recommended for typical computer use unless you have a lot of $$$ to blow.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This allows OS to place file blocks on either drive according to use, gives huge space for users and /.
