A Mac Mini isn't that easy to take apart, it is very much like working on a laptop computer. But the upgrade made a noticeable improvement in speed.

Fast working laptop processor in a compact package. The Intel cpu is a great, little processor for mid-ranged tasks. It is power efficient for battery saving and low in cost. There is nothing rally bad to say about this processor. It is not meant for high end multi-tasking processes.

The Intel T7200 (Core 2 Duo) mobile processor worked well as the upgrade I wanted. Not an upgrade for the novice to attempt, but worth the effort if you are comfortable with small tools and know some of what you are doing.
