Seems great. Having trouble buying a diluting agent for use with blood for the purpose of counting my RBCs and also getting adequate phlebotomy/Blood draw vacuum tubes for collection that contain the correct anticoagulant, making them ready to be spun down with a centrafuge after cooling for a specific amount of time in a Laboritory refrigerator. But the Hemacytometer was a great price, arrived quickly and undamaged, and looking at it thru my microscope I can see a well defined laser etched grid pattern, as was described in the instructions and looks to be done perfectly.

We bought several of these, they are of mixed quailty, the main problem is that the glass cover support is not always parallel, making the volumn in-accurate. It took a while to determine which were OK and which were not useable. The second issue is that there is not real flow channel so cell will get stuck before they can flow over the grid for reading, again contributing to in accuracy. Depending on the size of the cell being measured, this could be a big problem. The third problem is that the grid lines are not very clear, not a huge issue if you use phase contrast, but in bright field its really hard to see them.

We bought these for a student lab. They work fine and not as costly as others. Not sure if they are of patient lab quality.
