I play jazz standards. Having acoustic archtops in the past I stopped using them because of their dark and sometimes dry sound. I switched to semi hollows allowing me to play more styles with no feedback. However, this does not seem to be a problem with the AF 95 Fm. I found it to have a full balanced sound with great tone. Nice slim neck and easy playability. I used it for small jazz rehearsal at a low volume. No feedback and very professional sounding. I prefer flat wound strings and tried them, but to my surprise I believe the nickel wound sound better on this guitar. In closing a good acoustic archtop for the price.

This Ibanez AF95FM is a great guitar for Jazz or any other type of music playing styles. Love the S58 pickups warm sounds, and gains. The floating bridge on this guitar is a little tricky to position because it is not a fixed bridge that never lose its position. The Ibanez AF95FM is a beatiful full strong sound guitar, fantastic for Jass, ballads, country, church music, rock & roll, and blues. It have become my most preciuod guitar. The only thing though, on this instrument that I did not like was the sharp edges of all the neck frets that I got to fix or get may hands injury with some custs. After I fixed that problem the instrument is a wonderful guitar to play. Cordially, Dr. Frank Tirado ( Retired, Miami FL US )
