    Very useful product

    Very good for catching spiders and insects on the wall but is no good for those on ceiling as door won't shut. You have to take great care when turning the catcher to close the door that the insect etc does not get its legs trapped. I have used the product several times now and it is really good, just catch the insect and go and let in free outside hassle free Just wish the longer handled one had been an option as this would have been better.

    Too small

    I previously had one of these from a different supplier which was great. Unfortunately, I didn't check the size of this item (not sure if it was listed but I never thought to look). This is similar in style but it is tiny in comparison. It is not easy to use. Unfortunately, the spider's legs easily get trapped, as it is so small, so I wouldn't actually call it humane. I will now be searching for a larger version to buy.

    Really Great

    Catches insects and spiders without damaging them. This is a great invention but you do need to take care when closing the door once the insect is caught, because it's easy to catch the poor thing's legs or body in it, which defeats the purpose. I've bought three of these for friends who love the idea.

    No noise or batteries required

    Replaced an almost identical one bought 10+ years ago. Perfect if you don't mind spiders, but other in household do. Do need to get close (but not touching) bugs to use, and if on a wall, can just rotate to get gate to close without going near the spider end.

    Useful

    Good to have around when faced with 8 legged beasties! Could do with a design tweak as very small bugs can escape under the sliding door whilst you're closing it, as it isn't quite flush against the wall. That wasn't an issue for the giant one we caught recently who barely fit in the catcher!! But at least she could be safely transported to the garden and sent on her way!
