It's a beautiful screen and it's 40mm size makes it truly good for men and women. My personal preference is that it was a little bigger - maybe 47mm. The paging is elegant and first rate. The features match most other wear OS. I do like the Sapphire crystal - I don't think anyone else is doing one and it means no need for a screen protector. The charger is pretty finicky, I haven't found a good way to quickly connect it. It takes a few tries to get it lined up correctly. All and all very happy with my purchase.

The watch was cosmetically fine but the speaker does not play mid-range tones. The sound is weak and distorted, as if the speaker blew or got wet. I didn't complain because it was a decent deal at only $200 (though there was no mention of the issue) and I don't exactly watch videos on my watch, but it does affect alarm tones and other sounds. A verbatim excerpt of the description ("You are bidding on a MINT condition Huawei watch. This has been used less than 10 times.") doesn't exactly make mention of the problem.

I owned the Apple watch previous to my purchase of the huawei and my main concern was that it look too much like a SMARTWATCH. Now while this is convenient in many different situations I found that in a more formal setting I opted for a more traditional looking timepiece to complement my attire. Enter Huawei. Let me be clear, This watch is THE BEST LOOKING watch or SMARTWATCH I have ever owned. Period. This piece screams quality from the build quality all the way to the unboxing experience and then some. The changeable faces ensures it fits any situation and the screen is the best you can get anywhere. While I can rant and gush all day about how amazing this watch is, do a quick YouTube search and realize my opinion is the general consensus.

I wanted the ability to change watch faces. So looking like a real watch was important. Apps were not a big deal for me in a watch. I bought this watch without being able to play with it in the shops - so relied on reviews etc. to me it was a bit of a risk, being my first smartwatch and first Huawei anything. Oh and I use iOS! Overall I am very happy with my purchase. The quality is very very good. Solid, comfortable and looks nice- to me . Key factors and my rating are (out of 5) Quality of finish -5 Battery life -3 will last all day with high brightness on. Not using batt saver mode. Must be charged overnight like my iPhone Responsiveness -4 Third party WatchFace support - 4 current and about on par as others iOS support -2 as excepted but I didn't buy it for that. Display brightness -5 auto dim would be even better. Issues Limited to current bluetooth standards. Can only pair to phone and can't set pairing order. So I don't keep it connected as I want to use hands free in my car. (No I don't want to have to disconnect from my watch before I get in my car) I didn't expect this to be a use case issue but it really makes you wonder how useful it really is. I suspect this is an issue for other makes as well. Time will sort this with new phone and bluetooth implementations. The WatchFace flips to a alternate display face to save power I think? Until you activate the watch. I'd like to see the main face design all the time thanks. Just a simple on/off option would be nice. This is the case for all of the faces that I have tried. So I'm calling it a watch thing. Charger cradle takes carful placement to ensure it is properly connected. Not hard. But you don't want to find you didn't get it right in the morning So again overall, it is very good for this type of tech. I'm sure it will be obsolete within 3 months. Hence I bought it as a watch that can change faces. A good toy :)Read full review

Overall, great craftsmanship and design especially for a 2015 model. Its only limitations in my opinion are the lack of both a dynamic light sensor and fitness tracking sensitivity adjustment option. Available through the android market is a slew of customizable watch faces, tracking software, and multimedia. With upcoming support of Android wear 2.0 the watch will continue to have support with new software/apps for several years. I personally prefer my watches to have some weight to them so this doesn't feel any heavier then my other standard watches. After reading several review online, I decided on stainless steal for better longevity with scratches and polish.
