I’ve got just about all the video game pocketbooks from the early eighties. This is the first one I’ve read in 30 years or longer. It’s really well written. Haven’t gotten to the actual games yet but the intro was worth the purchase price to me. Didn’t even think a bout static shock causing the game to not register coins. I remember shocking games to get free play before they started grounding them, but that’s another story. Not throwing good money after bad is still very apt. Local pizza place has a Fish Tales that has a penchant for not registering quarters. The selection of games listed is really cool. Can’t air to try them out in Banning next year!
