This part did fit my machine as expected, However, it was not of equal quality to the original. The new bristles were not as dense and stiff. Fortunately the original part was only being replaced because the clips that held the whole assembly in the machine were broken. We replaced the new bristles with the old ones from the broken assembly. My machine is now working great again. This purchase kept me from buying a whole new machine so THANK YOU!

The brushes are not the quality of the old ones, but it fit like a glove in my old Hoover steamvac. Great price and ship very fast

Hoover replacement steam brush unit
The brushes are not quite as thick and heavy as the factory brush, haven't tried it on the carpet yet, hope the plastic hods up to the job, price and delivery were excellent..

As advertised....
I was looking for a replacement brush unit for my 14 year old Hoover Steamvac. It seems that our local vacuum store's records don't go back that far. It looked the same, so I bought it. It's identical to the unit on my vac. It's the same unit they sell for $6 more, in their store. Works great, I'm happy.
