ive been home brewing for a while using simple extract kits.so i got this book to learn more about all grain brewing. ive been doing 1gal all grain batches of my own design, and suprisingly havent made any that were undrinkable. in fact they were quite good. but still nervous to attempt anything larger. if your a novice or a seasoned homebrewer, this book is a must have for every reason. Dave Miller gives the homebrewer all they need to brew great beer, and have fun doing it. it also has many great recipes of popular styles. those alone are worth the book, much less the knowledge it gives you. i wonder where id be in my brewing now if i had this book 3 years ago.
Very technical and too many formulas. Seems to be for high level scientists and not for a home brewer.

Good book for beginner or early intermediate brewer. lots of good useful information, but I found this book more dry than the Charlie Papazian books (which I found not only informative but entertaining)
I bought this book to brew beer with. I love this book 'cause it contains hard facts. It is a cookbook basically. The most comprehensive and easy to read book on home brewing.
