My favorite Lindsay Lohan movie
I remember watching this movie from the theaters, when I was 8 years old. Also, I love owning the movies on DVDS, when it comes with deleted scenes, behind the scenes, documentaries, commentary, and previews.

You know, I really liked Herbie Unloaded. Lindsay Lohan was pretty good here, I must admit. It's a nice clean family-friendly movie for kids and tweens. But after watching it once, it's not a movie that I would keep coming back to over and over again.

Bought it at Walmart - Should've waited to buy cheaper here. I never saw the old Herbie, so I can't compare. I thought it was funny, and they did a pretty good job on Herbie looking real (well as real as they could making a car come to life). Linsey - eh. For being a great street racer in the past, it looked like she was child who put a quarter in a ride (moving the wheel back and forth when the car is supposed to be going straight). Much Better in Freaky Friday. Herbie and racing is what made the movie. I think children would find it mildly amusing. It's a little kiddish, but acceptable for an adult as entertaining. If they didn't have race cars in it, I would rate it average. It's one of those movies you enjoyed, but wish you payed less for. So I'd say wait ... New, Clean, Damage Free, Nostalgic!
The DVD came brand new and in great condition. Haven't actually tried out the DVD in my DVD player yet because I've upgraded, but I've bought this as a classic relic to show off to my students and guests and teach about the good ole nostalgia of the early to late 2000's.

I took my oldest son to see this in the theatre and we both loved it..for different reasons. I do remember the original movie and althought times have changed, Herbie is great! My son (3 1/2) thought Herbie was great and wanted to know if our car could do some of his tricks? Lohan is a delightful surprise...some of her clothing is a bit short/tight, but nothing vulgar or in bad taste.
