Shipped quickly. VERY easy to assemble. You can make it a 1 sq ft desk to 100 square yards or more if you had the wood. I felt eight feet was too long so I made mine 5' x 4'. I made the first shelf taller than the second. The only negative and it's really nothing...I'd use heavier screws for the main workbench. But if I can build it anyone can. I'm a geek, not a builder. I bought 1/2 inch oak plywood so I could create a nice surface. I would definitely but it again.

Assuming I purchased a full workbench I was very disappointed to find out it was only legs and brackets, not to mention they were plastic. I can actually still use the legs but not for my intention. I ordered the bench for my smithy. Need to be metal or steel like the description claims.

Great product!! Very sturdy and easy to use. I made a full size 4' X 8' work bench with a shelf under for stock. I havent used the shelf stuff yet, but I will one of these days ... I would love to see them offer a middle leg for full size bench as well. Highly recomend this !!

This kit makes building a work bench fairly simple by requiring only straight cuts on the 2X4's. I did not to add a middle lower shelf or an upper middle shelf. This gave me more room for underneath storage and allowed me to add pegboard on the back side for storing some hand tools I often use. I made my bench 8 ft. long X 30" wide with a 2X4 laying flat along the back side of the top to use as a small shelf and backstop. I also added three 2 x 4's for cross bracing under both the top and lower shelf just to add more stability. I made the entire work bench in one day. I opted to used 1/2" MDF wood for the bench top and lower shelf. Sealed the MDF with two coats of clear shellac. Looks great!

Interesting use of glass filled structural foam. Leg bottoms make it easy to add locking castors so I can move the work bench around the hangar and lock it down where I need it. I made changes to the intended design by using 1"X4" sides and then glueing and brad nailing them to the edges of the plywood top. Making it much lighter and stiffer.
