    Improved design for an old 8S43-18C266 AD

    Real OEM part. This was a replacement for a plastic coolant bypass hose on 2008 ford focus. It connects the thermostat, EGR valve, and goes to the back and connects to the cabin heating system. The old one developed a crack in the plastic part which pretty much sat quite close to the radiator. This one, however, is made of metal and it looks like an improved design.

    Good part

    It is a little bit more difficult to install in a 08 ford focus 2.0L. But its worth the install compared to the OEM plastic part. Also recommend replacing the water outlet on side of engine as well. The gasket and the plastic fails over time causing a coolant leak on the driver side of engine. Dorman PN 902-231.
