Based on the popular novel by J. K. Rowling and the film adaptation that followed, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is an isometric-perspective adventure game that follows the exploits of the immensely popular boy wizard. Placed in the role of the young magician, the player begins as a new student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and is joined by familiar characters like Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and even Draco Malfoy. <br><br>As he attends class, Harry learns new spells and is assigned various tasks, such as collecting vials for his potions class. Over the course of the game, Harry will explore the grounds at Hogwarts, spend time with Hagrid, and even hop on a broomstick as the seeker for the Quidditch team. However, as in the novel, Harry's special talents are noticed not only by his instructors but also by darker forces, and he will have to confront evil Voldemort before his adventure is over.

    All copies work. One of them didn't play nicely with the Analogue Pocket, but my old DS read it fine. The headers all looked correct, too. I'd heard a rumor that one of these games was a little like Golden Sun, so I had to investigate. Wasn't expecting a deal on 3 of the games at once. All the cartridges were in good condition,too.

    Complicated, but enjoyable, indeed.

    Being the gba version of the very first game to the series, most of it’s sprites are taken from the pc version, but unfortunately, unlike the pc and ps1, Harry can’t jump and he will fall if he runs into a hole, which makes the game frustrating too, nor does he get the invisibility cloak in this version, so like the chamber of secrets, there is a lot of stealth sequences in it, and saving only happens when touching a floating book, the same treatment is shared in the ps1 and gba version of the chamber of secrets, as well as the pc, but the pc doesn’t require you to decide which file to save as it only saves the file you decided from the main menu. Harry only learns his spells in this game with a teacher next to him by copying their previous wand movements, which is also done only once in ...
