Pros - built-in scale, actually works!! Brew time is average, coffee above average if you use bold (slow brew, makes the most of your coffee!!) I purchased this at a special price, but it is in line with most coffee makers in the $35-45 range. Low profile compared to others. Carafe pours without a drop spilled. I would give it 5 stars, well worth the money!! Very easy programmable set up with minimum buttons, too! Nice for the Price, Works Great
Hey, This coffee maker is great for the price of $34, it does have a scale that i dont use since i use a heaping tablespoon per cup of coffee, Coffee brew is normal and slower for bold which i use, filling with water is fine but a smaller thin area to fill, its not a problem if you take your time, its nice to have programming so i can set it the night before, i also purchased a permanent filter since its not included with the refurbished coffee maker for it since regular one are a pain to me, its makes awesome coffee and i think i will buy a spare since all coffeemakers die within a few years as nothing that is made today last..I have purchased coffee makers for $300 and this $34 coffee maker is just as good, i also have a HB coffee grinder because i grind my beans just b4 setting it up for the morning, buy one, you won't be disappointed....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

JUNK!
I followed all directions when I received this machine, ie; cleaning it and then using it. I have made maybe 15 pots of 8 cups of coffee in in and this morning it made a lot of gurgling noise and took forever to make a pot of coffe. I just cleaned the machine again and put in 10 cups of water to run it through with no coffee grounds. It has been gurgling now for 27 minutes and it still has not emptied the 10 cups of water in it. Total and utter failure of a coffee maker. Conatacted Hamiltion Beach and after more than a week they answered and basicly said...to bad. Don't even think about buying!
