I wanted a all in one type cell phone, and I did get that with this phone. However, the browser does not work properly, cant configure it . It is bulky, and has a little weight to it, but not too much, I do however really like that I can tap it with my nail and get to where I want with the touch screen, on different phones I have had, i was not able to do this with them, the stylus is great if your finger is too big, awesome tool. I would like to be able to have better ringer selections, which are louder than the available ones. these are things I want, does not make it a bad phone anyone else.
If you wish to receive picture messages or get on the net, this is NOT the phone for you. This phone can only be used for phone calls and regular text messages. No data, video, picture, no apps, or even the smiley faces. Sprint had a Picture Mail application for this for to receive such things, but discontinued a few years ago. This phone cannot be linked with email accounts due to it being outdated software. it is pretty much useless other than calls or plain text messages.

I've owned BBRY's and Palm Pre/Pixi's from the 2008/2009 years and they have all worked fine. The HTC Touch Pro is a decient windows phone. Fetures do take a bit getting usted to and apps are avaliable from Microsoft. However, you can't download the better apps because it operates on a Windows Moble 6.1 platform and you need Windows Moble 7 for the good apps (and unfortunatly it's not upgradable to Windows Moble 7). As far as the battery goes, very simmerlar to the BBRY & Palm's i've had. If your a casual user, battery is sufficent. However, if your a heavy user of the phone (text, web surf, etc) you should consider to having a ready plug in power source avaliable. It's not an Android, I Phone or a newer Windows Moble 7 phone, it is what it is, 3 year old technology. If you can find resellers of these as refurbished units in at least B grade (no lower) condition, their a good buy. And if all you want to do is basics or for a starter smartphone, it's a good phone.Read full review
I mainly purchased this phone, because it had a QWERTY keyboard and a flash. This phone is such a hunk of junk! I definitely would not recommend that anyone buy this phone! Item description says it is a smartphone, but to my knowledge it doesn't do anything that my last phone didn't, which was not a smartphone. The battery life is horrible. I don't even use my phone but maybe for 20 minutes a day, and I have to fully recharge this phone at least twice a day. It is very inconvenient. The menus are very hard to navigate, and they are so small, I always have to use the stylus. It is also very slow in realizing that you have pressed a button. It leads me to pressing the button again and again, only to take me way beyond what I was trying to look at. DO NOT BUY!
The HTC Touch Pro is a great phone for the price that I paid for it. It is a perfect phone. I especially like the qwerty keyboard feature and the touchscreen. But the battery life is questionable so I bought another battery!!
