Good virtual reality headset. Image quality is great and the controllers are well crafted. Better than the controller of the HTC vive in my opinion. There is a very good selection of games you can play in Steam both free and paid. Actually, the one I play the most is free. I own also another VR set from another brand (HP) and they are equivalent.

I got this as a second headset, kind of a backup and more portable option to my Rift CV1 with three-sensor ceiling mount setup. So my review will largely be a comparison to that headset. The good: - Very good resolution and a very noticeable bump up from the OG Rift. - Ease of setup and no external sensors make this a great option to quickly grab along with a laptop and take to a friend's place. - Pretty comfortable material touching your head The bad: - Extremely poor field-of-view versus the Rift, due to the excessive front padding causing the lenses to sit very far from your eyes. Tightening the unit can alleviate this to some extent, but that causes it to be uncomfortable, and it's probably not great for the tightening knob mechanism. - Colors are washed out with poor black levels compared to the OLED panels in the Rift. - It feels a bit front heavy due to no top head strap helping to distribute the weight. - No built-in headphones is very annoying. - The controllers are not particularly well-designed. They're not uncomfortable, but they're clunky to use in many games. The Oculus Touch controllers are still the gold standard. The ugly: - The controller tracking is pretty horrible compared to a Rift CV1 or a Vive. This is the major trade-off for it being more portable without needing sensors. Most of the time it's acceptable, but there are other times where it will completely break your gameplay. The Rift S does inside-out tracking much better, but it's still not as good as the CV1. Final thoughts: This is a great headset if you're on a tight budget and can pick it up cheap. I would not pay much more than $150 though. If you're looking for more than some casual VR gaming, do yourself a favor and just get a Rift/Vive, or if you've got deep pockets, an Index. You'll have a much better and more immersive experience. That said, there are some games where I actually prefer the HP WMR unit. The resolution bump is great for things like racing games, where you don't even use motion controllers so the inferior tracking is irrelevant.Read full review

Came nicely packaged, not a single noticeable blemish, video quality was really great. Only 1 minor complaint, even at its largest setting the head unit head strap is just a tad bit small for my head but this is a lifelong issue of mine but I make do.

Its good for the price your paying especially because of the lord including batteries. One thing that i dont really like is the scratches it does affect the gameplay but its just one little thing I didnt like but otherwise its perfect
