I bought this printer because of its ratings in Consumer Report. I wanted a stand-alone wired printer as opposed to a wireless one. Both my daughters-in-law have wireless printers and have great problems with them. I love printing photos and collages of my children and grandchildren and this printer does a great job at that. I also thought the print cartridges were cheaper to buy; however I found out that there are two types of cartridges : more of a sample supply of ink which is about $10 and an XL cartridge which lasts longer but is more expensive. That was a downer. Photos require a lot of ink!!! The number of photos I have printed so far tells me a need to buy the XL cartridges since I am out of ink on the Cyan already and low on others. I still do love this machine.
I had one of these printers for a couple of years until a cartridge leaked inside the print head and ruined it. I bought it because of its ability to print on cds and dvds. When I started looking for a new printer I discovered that anything available now doesn't have that cd/dvd printing feature but is loaded up with things I don't need like wireless access and big lcd screens that can be used to surf the web. I have a computer to surf the web, why would I want my printer to surf the web? And the newer printers are flimsy, too. This printer is of higher build quality. Who knows why HP decided that nobody wants to print on cds or dvds anymore but you can tell from the price that used D7560s are fetching that plenty of people want that feature. I even bought a second used one from ebay to have on hand in case this one stops working. Love the D7560. And the print quality of documents and photos is great, too!Read full review
Great picture printer. High quality pictures. Bought it because I have two other HP printers that have great quality pictures and document speed printing. My old one D7360 had red color problems. Mixing with other colors and coming out purple. I am using this printer to replace it. Always bought HP. Never had any major problems to switch to anything else. Great value.
I purchased the HP Photosmart D7560 to replace one I had traded in to purchase an updated model that added a scanner. It did not take me long to realize that I should not have traded in the HP D7560, because it had the best photo software I had ever used. The picture library and options were simple, and let me date the photos printed, and the quality of the prints were great. The HP D7560 also had a CD,DVD labeling device, not included on my upgraded printer. The HP D7560 printer I purchased on Ebay is in perfect condition and I will never part with it!
It's easy to see what the feedback for this seller is so high. The HP printer I bought is one of the only models that will print on DVD. Right now HP doesn't seem to be pushing any new models that do. Epson's the only other big manufacturer that makes them right now and every Epsons inkjet I've ever owned has died if you didn't print with it almost daily. The ink dries in the heads of the Epson. So this HP is just what the doctor ordered. The DVDs I make for the elementary school musicals look great. Thanks!
