This printer works great, you can fax scan copy and print and you can hook it up to the net. Great price as well picked it up for under $90 bucks which new runs around $400 can say nothing bad about this deal.

We were not aware that the printer needed extra special ink to operate normally. There was no owners guide with the printer so we had to find out by trial and error that the printer needs more ink than normal for regular printing. So as of today we still haven''t printed any documents as we are still shopping for the correct ink. The print quality has yet to be seen.

These printers seem to be prone to paper feed problems. If the ink is out of date they will not print. Won't even print in black when one of the color cartridges is out of ink. When they do work they do a good job.

This is the third HP all-in-one printer and second HP Office Jet Pro 8500 I've purchased. The 8500 is by far the best printer/scanner/copier I've ever used. Super easy to use interface on the printer, feature-rich web configuration interface with very interesting metrics on printer usage to view. The Automatic Document Feeder is probably the greatest and most heavily used feature.
Bought on Ebay has performed well enough tat I have ordered a second. I like the feature that it puts itself to sleep and wakes itself up when needed. Wish it were just a tad smaller but it does an exceptionally good job and prints very fast compared to other color officejets I have owned in HP and Epson.
