    Bipolar 2SC2879 transistors still have their advantages.

    This BJT has a large gain bandwidth. It has great performance in the 27-30 mHz region. Input and output impedances are also consistant as well as voltage gain. It can be operated in low or high power applications with low order distortion in good designs.

    Hg 2sc2879

    A very good replacement for the discontinued Toshiba 2sc2879. Side by side comparison between hg and Toshiba produce the same rf power output and quality of signal. Absolutely the best replacement I've found.

    Best available 2879’s

    I was very hesitant buying these but they are perfect My pa blew because of power supply failure so I had to find 4x 2879’s These produce the exact output and on the spectrum analyser they are very clean also!
