We finally got enough snow to use this tool! The battery had held it's charge in the cold for several weeks, at least. The G-MAX cut through some chopped up ice, snow, hit twigs and kept going. I was able to clear my driveway, the back yard patio, 5 houses down and 5 houses up on the sidewalk. It still has power left in the battery. I'll keep it going to see how long it lasts. I have another battery charged and ready to go. Charger works quickly. Ready in just over and hour. The G-MAX threw the snow pretty far out of the way. It was easy to adjust the direction of the throw, by using the handle. It's not necessary to stop the machine to adjust the direction of throw, just twist the handle while walking. it didn't take as long to charge as I expected it to and it doesn't provide power as long as I'd hoped I also bought a power inverter for this type of battery, trying to reduce my power bill; I'm not sure this will really help

Great product. My husband couldn't believe I wasted my money on a battery that wasn't Greenworks brand. He has now mowed using the new battery multiple times and is pleasantly surprised that the battery lasts as long or longer then the OEM original battery did when we got it! What a huge savings. The battery is OK. Do not have battery charger plugged in unless you are charging the battery. If you leave battery charger plugged in during storms it will self destruct! Also, Greenworks support system is terrible. Forget it if you need them.Just go ahead and buy a new"what ever", as trying to get in touch with them is impossible. For stance, I called their helpline and got a recording that I was 197th in line! So, I emailed them (help site for emails says, "we'll be right back to help"). NEVER HEARD FROM THEM.
