First impressions are WOW. The size is very nice for dramatic mini presentations in 1/72, and putting siege troops on the deck. I chose the water line version, for tabletop gaming, and left some details out for easier troops movement, I have yet to or plan to do any rigging, which is why I love the molded sails, that can be glued to the mast and removed or added easily. There is no interior, which is fine as since Zvezda does not make sailors would look weird if open to the rowers. Although having no sailors at all and having to look to other brands is a big let down. All of the triremes Zvezda are pretty similar and this is the most basic yet classic design. How to make it better, use Greek catapults from Hat, and some of the roman sailors from the ORead full review

I was very impressed by the detail of the parts and the way they fit together. I would recommend this kit. It is also larger than some of the other Greek warship kits sold by other manufacturers referencing the same scale. Assembly instructions could use some improvement. Suggested paint scheme was not very clear.

This model goes together well. There is no flashing and the parts fit nicely. The instructions are mostly clear with some exceptions.
