These work very well. I have long thick curly hair, but I think these would work for almost any hair type or length. The minis are great for partial updos. I can use 2 spin pins instead of 10 Bobbi pins. The regular longer spin pins are great for full updos. The Goody spin pins are way better than Conair's version.

I have super fine hair that is very silky. My hair is so slippery that curling it isn't an option. Most things I try usually fail as far as up dos are concerned. These worked so well I was shocked with what it achieved. Due to the fine nature and its thinness, the small ones are really a better option for me.

These little spin pins are the BOMB! They hold your hair securely, especially long hair, where bobby pins just won't do the trick. In the past my bun was really secure just using bobby pins. Not to with these little guys. I've been using these for years with great success. That's the reason I ordered more, so I would have several in each bathroom of my two-story home. You can't go wrong with these spin pins.

if you want to put long hair up in a bun that stays put all day, this is the way to do it! i have fine shoulder-length straight hair. pull it back and up, and start twisting. tuck the end under, and screw in the pin in the side of the bun. these pins last until the cat swipes them!

I have 6 of the long spinners and am now glad to have these short spin pins. They work great in my braided updos hairstyles.
