I was hesitant to pull the trigger on generic blades because of concerns about quality. I only have one face/head and although it may not be the best looking out there I didn't want to carve it up with cheap blades. I got 36 blades for $10 and couldn't be more pleased so far. I shave beard every other day and head every day. This will be second week I've had a generic blade in my razor and no issues at present. The Aloe strip is still in good shape and the blades are still sharp. Honestly, I expected the Aloe to all but wash off but that has not been the case. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star rating is because of the length of time I've used them.

I was truly hoping for a quality blade but I must confess that the standard was lower than Atra. The shave was coarse and I had to shave the same area repeatedly to gain a semblance of smoothness. I only used the one blade and had to go to Walgreens to purchase the exorbitantly priced Atra . Do you have a return policy or am I supposed to throw them away ? I will not give these to any one .

I originally just purchased this small pack of 36 blades because I was unsure as to the quality of the blades. I saw some people that were saying that the blades were as good as the store bought name brand so I thought that I'd try them. They are very nice blades. Each one lasts me long enough that I can use about 1 per week to 2 weeks under the right conditions. These blades also last longer if you make sure you always use a shaving cream and hot water when shaving. (I've heard that mineral oil can be used to prolong the life of the blades as well to keep them from oxidizing on a micro level which causes them to get dull.)

I do not like any of the newer razors and I have had my Atra razor for over 20 years. Now my son is using one of my spares and he likes it too. We were afriad that since we could not find blades anymore, we would both be forced to "adapt" to something newer. Now, I can buy enough blades to keep him and me in razors for my entire lifetime.

I have an old Atra style razor that my children purchased for me many years ago for Father's Day. It has a wooden case that they personalized for me. Needless to say, I don't want to part with it. The regular Atra blades have gotten so expensive that I began buying generic replacement blades, which I got at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS or the grocery store. Suddenly, no one is carrying the generic blades anymore. After making this discovery, I went online and found these blades. I am very pleased with the price and the quality. They are actually a better quality and value then those I had been previously been buying. I highly recommend this product!
