Other then the regular run of the mill utility knives and a couple of full size folders...this is my first edc type small utility blade knife. I really like it and seemed to be pulling it out the pocket a lot just to flip I open with one hand. Takes a little practice. I will admit I modified it some. I didn’t require a money clip so I popped it out and the edges in spots were too sharp as was some other areas for my needs. A bit of file work and sanding remedied that and it’s as smooth as a....well it’s smooth! Don’t get me wrong...it’s one nice knife all by its self as it comes or I wouldn’t have purchased it. Built sturdy and looks handsome. I just minimized it more and wanted softer edges while in the pocket. Plan on buying another to add to my backpack without the mods. I’ve looked at other ps online and there may be better ones at a much price tag, but for under $15 this is a one handsomely well built pocket utility knife.Read full review

I am constantly on the search for the smallest pocket razor knife I can find. Up until now, it has been my craftsman. This Gerber is substantially smaller than that though. Great for fitting in pockets. This knife has a very nice built quality. Very Gerber like. Where I’m torn, is the usefulness of this knife in the construction industry. If your blade is sharp, sure, almost no issues. I say almost because, I was trying to cut silicone off of the edge of a piece of glass butted up to a wall, and the finger guard stuck out just enough to damage the paint a few times. I could probably perfect my technique, but it’s not something I worry about with my craftsman. The other thing is changing the blade. If you do anything that dulls the blade out quickly, it can be a pain to have to grab a screwdriver every time you need to change it. That being said, the blade is held very securely and never comes out of the knife, which is more than I can say for my craftsman when I put too much pressure and accidentally hit the blade release. Over all, great knife! Awesome quality. Very small and you can make it even smaller if you pull the clip off! But I guess this would be more of an everyday use kind of knife or a box cutter type where the blade doesn’t dull so fast. But not a construction kind of knife.Read full review

I have been keeping a razor knife with me for 25+ years. I was happy when they came out with a folding one. The popular style just won't keep the blade tight under stress. With the Gerber EAB series, a screw holds the blade to keep it secure. This is my second one, I left my last one at someones house 3 hours away and they claim they don't have enough money to mail it back, so I had to buy a new one. I think I like the Lite version the best of the two. I haven't found any other brand even close to the design of these. This is the only pocket knife I carry. No worries about dulling or damaging the blade, just replace it.

If you are tired of sharpening your EDC knife because you often need to open boxes, etc., here is your answer. Very clean, compact design which is both lightweight and tough. The design is handy, with attached clip, or just put it in your pocket. Best part, when it gets dull, get another razor cutter blade, available about anywhere and you are back in business.

This is the third style and it is the best style I miss when it was just $10. But by far one of the best presents you can get somebody and great tool. Excellent for everything expecially working on interiors of cars. Stylish on your pocket. And not too big I could probably go on and on about how good it is. I absolutely love it I absolutely love it
