    Just what I needed

    If all you need is ethernet

    If all you need is ethernet on a portable Macbook with a Thunderbolt port (i.e. Air etc), this works fine. If you are at home many iThunderbolt dock also have Ethernet ports and usually have additional thunderbolt ports (for extensions). In terms of functionality, the adapter and ethernet connection was immediately recognized by my Macbook Air and functioned perfectly.

    Light weight, super fast, slim and no driver required

    I love this plug and play Gigabit Ethernet Adapter. Super fast data transfer rate. I bought earlier third party one just to save money but they always gave me troubles, driver issues etc, but OEM apple is the best, no driver needed. I tried OEM USB Ethernet Adapter too but I don't like it because that one is slow in speed. Well, If you need something solid performance then go for it, some extra $$ worth to have it right product.
