I would not recommend these silicone pads if you are looking to stop the pain in the ball of your foot. They are very thin and also do not have an adhesive backing so do not stay in place. I found some that work perfectly, they are a little thicker and have an adhesive backing so they stay in place, they are also marked led and right which these are both the same.

I like them because they don't take up a lot of room in your shoes. adding a lot of room would throw off the fit in my shoes. I think the only thing missing is the tape keeping them in place but added double stick tape to mine and they are fine.

Very high comfort but must be taped in place into the shoe or it will move out of place. Once taped it stays put and does not effect comfort level. Am very pleased that a stickey bottom is not there as it would leave residue of glue on the shoe and that would effect the comfort placement and adjustment as indicated.
