A watch inside not the original box, just carton. Anyway looks like everything fine. Pluses you know already. Minuses: low personal custimozation(v. Galaxy Watch), mid accuracy GPS, battery 4 days, had some troubles with localization(russian). In total: good watches for good price. Sportsmens will love that watch because of many training presets. If you just want to casual smartwatch better look another model(actually another brand too).

Watch does what it's supposed to. I'm a bit disappointed in the color resolution of the face/graphic display. I've come to realize that Garmin watches don't have bright color graphics which is disappointing for a higher end brand. I've had cheaper smart watches that do a better job. I purchased Garmin because Vitality app my company uses to track fitness activities. Watch works well, and gets the job done.

Great watch; it was refurbished but seems brand new. I originally bought this for golf because I didn't want the hassle of using a laser rangefinder anymore but I found out I like wearing it everyday to keep track of my daily activity. I sit in front of a computer all day and it reminds me to get off my butt and that's a great help to my health and state of mind.

I’ve tried about every brand of fitness trackers/watch there is. This is a great compromise between fitness and having a good looking watch. I really wanted this to be the end of my search for the perfect combination fitness tracker/watch and something that would compete with the Apple Watch. Unfortunately, as well designed and functional as it is, the heart rate tracking is so far off it is useless and pretty much negates using it as a serious fitness device. Often during rigorous exercise, the heart rate would show 80-90 bpm when it should have been in the 140 range. Then, when taking a slow walk, it would show a heart rate in the 130’s +. I had two of these and they both exhibited the same lack of accuracy in heart rate tracking. The Garmin eccosystem is nice and easy to understand, but if a fitness device can’t measure heart rate accurately, then what’s the use. Read full review

Purchased to upgrade from Vivosmart HR. The Vivoactive 3 is more traditional wristwatch shape and size and has many more functions. After using it for two weeks I haven't scratched the surface of its capabilities. WIll have to sit down with the (online) manual to learn these additional functions Transition from my old fitness tracker was easy. Just added the new device to the Garmin Connect app and ran a sync and all my old data carried over. It seems I can switch off between the two devices and the app will take care of merging data from either device. Seems to be totally waterproof in normal use. I only take it off for recharging. Only downside is having to recharge every 4-5 days instead of every two weeks or so with the Vivosmart HR.. Ebay was running a special when I purchased this tracker, so I put my savings towards an upgraded metal band and a rubber cover. Very happy with my purchase.Read full review
