The only issuer I've had so far, which is why I put no to good value & performance reliability, is when I went to reset the trip data on the 1st hike it would not reset, so I just had to remember miles on it before starting on hike. I've owned the Montana 600 since it was new but it started having some inconsistencies, which is why I bought the 680 & did not want the larger 700 unit. But after back from hike & driving down the road on the way back home it finally reset & I had already did the touch screen calibration when I 1st got the unit along with other things needed done when guying these products new like firmware updates

Used this GPS for over 350 miles off-roading in heavy trees and deep mountains valleys and it always kept me on track. I have had several other models & brands but none of those have ever performed as well as this one. I also like the fact I can take a picture with it and use it for a waypoint. Highly recommend for those who get off the beaten paths👍

Not that user friendly, screen goes to sleep fast... But, has a lot of features and once learning how to operate it works great.

Unit works well after charging the Li-Ion battery off of the USB on a computer. Included 120 volt charger would not charge he battery because the software needed to be updated according to the Garmin Techies. Once charged through the computer, it works perfectly.
