Easy to use, hold and covers all the basic needs for GPS travel.
If you are like me and are not looking for a GPS, with all the bells and whistles, then this is the GPS for you. It will navigate you to that special place, return you using the same path or locate a variety of places like stores, food and gas. It has all the necessary features you need while out in the back country. Waypoints, speed, distance, elevation, time and the list goes on. I recommend this model to those who just want a GPS.... to be a GPS. Associated mounts make taking it very easy to take, if you do not want to carry it.

We really like this GPS
We really like this GPS. It works well and is easy to use. My wife is into Geocaching and the Geocache feature is real easy to use. The map shows the trails in our area (CT) and this helps us immensely. The satellites are found pretty quickly and the added Glonass seems to help with the positioning. A good multi-purpose solution to GPS
Pros: works great, mostly intuitive. A good all round solution to navigating. It can navigate city/hwy. It can be preloaded with trails using Garmin Basecamp. Great for using on the trail. And can even be used as a safe backup for more "off the trail" exploring, with peace of mind to find camp again. lightweight, fits into a bag easily, carries in the pocket like a cellular. Well worth the price. Cons: Battery life is half of what I would like, requires more batteries/recharge more often then I hoped for. Items says 16h of GPS mode. I was hoping I could get more life by using less frequently. But even then it comes to about 16ish-hours.
