This is a great little upgrade - it makes taking the slide off so much easier than the factory original. That extra couple mm don't seem like they would mean much, but, WOW what a difference (not sure why Glock doesn't upgrade their parts to this)! Fit perfectly on my G-17. Strip off the slide, push down the retention spring (use a punch or small screwdriver), the installed one drops out, and slide the new one in. Install time = 30 seconds!

These make removing the slide about 10 times easier then the too-narrow factory piece. Very easy to install too. Very much worth changing the OEM part for this one.

The slide release is angled in such a way that your fingers don't slip off like the OEM release. Also it is made of very hard metal and the finger grips are kind of sharp to enhance your finger grip. I remove my slide to change barrels often and this makes it easy. Thanks Deltac

If you're like me and have a touch of arthritis in the hands or numbness in the fingertips, there is just enough extra metal with this device that makes slide removal a snap. The upgrade take less than a minute, and all that's needed is a something small enough to depress the retention/activation spring. There are numerous videos on YouTube that show how to do the upgrade. It makes owning a Glock that much more enjoyable.

Then these are a must have! They work great to break down your Glock. I always struggled trying to hold down the slide lock and move the slide to get it off. What is that they say about a monkey and a football? Well it was not quite that bad but it was not one of my fun things to do. The taper cut helps you get move finger on the lock and the cuts are deep enough to really get the slide lock energized down and move the slide. I started with (2) of these to try and see how they worked, now all my Glocks have the in them in. It is so EASY to put them in your Glock, once you manage to energize the old slide lock, go back and see the Monkey part, I used a small Allen wrench to push the spring down and start to push the old slide out, I pushed the old slide out with the new one. Took all of about 5 seconds to change at that point. This makes the break down a SNAP. This is a GREAT Product for your Glock.Read full review
