These are excellent, versatile humbuckers. They look awesome and sound even better. Great bass, mid, and treble blend of sound. Excellent warm and tight with overdrive/distortion and clear/detailed on clean settings. I use reverb, chorus, delay, and compression on clean and my guitar sounds excellent now. Installed in a Glarry 170. I also installed the neck version of this humbucker in another hum-single configuration Tele. That guitar sounds amazing too. I’m a huge fan of GM pickups.

Great Pickups!!!
They look great & sound better! Very hot & very articulate. I am using these in an Omen S II with a Bourns push pull pot set up for split coil. The neck in single coil mode sounds amazing, crystal clear & very pleasing to my ears without much of a drop in volume. Twangy with some very nice lows. I love it. The bridge is great too, high output and sounds excellent through my Katana with some overdrive. I can get a squeaky clean tone if I dial back the volume a bit. I was skeptical about buying such a cheap pickup, but I am a believer now. These are wax potted too. Great product, great price.They look great & sound better! Very hot & very articulate. Great upgrade.
I've tried a few different pickup setups on my partscaster Strat. I started with a pair of PAF style humbuckers. They were good, but I didn't like the neck pickup for some reason. Then I tried an HSS pickguard with a vintage Fender humbucker, but wasn't happy with the bridge pickup sound. Last weekend I installed the HexBuckers and I've had trouble putting the guitar down. I mostly play with bridge only, it's loud & crslp. The neck & bridge are balanced well for rythm. I don't play much with the neck PU only. Installation was easy. GM includes a sheet explaining the wire color codes. The bridge pickup is stamped B, the neck pickup is stamped N. If you install them with the wires toward the controls, the coil polarity from neck to bridge is S/N - N/S. They come with the South Finish/North ... This is perfect if you want wire them in a conventional parallel arrangement, with or without a coil tap. I tested the coil tap and like the sound with just the S coils active. I expect that to sound great, but haven't actually played the configuration enough to comment. I adjusted the pickup heights to 4/64 with the E strings held to the 15th fret. That gives me a good sound and I haven't noticed any issues or weak strings, so I haven't adjusted the individual pole pieces yet. Bottom line: I'd totally recommend these for a partscaster build, or as an upgrade.
