    Was concerned based on past reviews, but after six months will purchase again.

    I had only used GE filters in the past and had a concern based on past reviews. The filter has been in a month now and I see no difference compared to the last generation GE filters. There was no black sediment the first couple pints. Volume is good. The only thing I can't review yet is longevity. Update after 6 months, still working no complaints. Will purchase again. 2020 update: I have used all of these; the review still stands, have and will order more.

    Nothing like OEM quality

    If all you want to do is remove odor or taste from water these will do the job, Good price for a 3 pack but you get some knock off generic - if you have anything other than taste of Chlorine in your water such as dissolved deceleration from dirt or something these do nothing. We have clay where we live so the water has a tint to it; the old OEM Filter for Whrilpool/kenmore filters it clear, but these allow the direct to pass through and the water is still tinted with the dirt discoloration. Stay OEM name brand if you have anything like this. So this tells me its not really filtering that great if it cant take a little dirt out of the water, there is no telling what else it's allowing to pass. No different than a brita filter to be honest and they suck too.

    Filter replacement

    Filters fit and are working as advertised. My first concern was the lack of an alignment arrow printed on the filter. Since the filter will only fit one way due to the tab design on the connection end of the filter, the arrow is not needed. It only aids in lining up the tabs with the slots in the unit. I guess if you rotate the filter 180 degree this could be considered a second way to install it but this has no bearing on how it works. Love the price!

    SmartWater Filters/ 3pk GREAT DEAL!

    Ordered this 3pk smart water water filters for my refrigerator, haven't used one yet but it's exactly what I have on there now and it's almost due a changing, I paid less for the three pack than I could go to walmart and get (1)!
