    Fantastic results using Fluval Clearmax

    Phosphate in the local water supply was causing problems in my 200l freshwater tropical tank. I found recommendations for Fluval Clearmax online and decided to try it. Having put it in my filter 10 days ago the results are fantastic, phosphate levels have fallen from almost 10 parts per million to about 2, far better than I had hoped for. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with similar issues.

    EASY TO USE GREAT VALUE PRODUCT!

    I have been using this product for serval years know and it is really easy to use and goes into my external filter compartments it starts removing phosphates nitrite and nitrates from my 300 litre aquarium within a few hours. It great value and still works over 2 months later. 5 star product!!

    No to very very low nitrite/nitrate

    I use this in both my tanks (10 lite Fluval spec and a 90 litre Fluval Roma in a 206 external). After trying other makes of Nitate/Nitrite removal media I have found this to be the best as it has brought my levels down to virtually zero. I have it scheduled to be replaced every 3 months but only do so if a water test shows nitrite/Nitrate levels increase. This comes in pre bagged pouches, for the 10 litre tank I put some in a small filter media bag.

    What it was made for

    This is a great item and i keep three to four bags in my sump at all times. It is one of the few items that does the job it is made for and so works very well. I would tell anyone to keep this in they sump where there is a good flow of water. But remember to change it.
