Shipped Fast, very strong ladder, but I had to get creative to mount it onto my dock. Instructions say to reach under the dock to add a large washer and nut but there's no way to reach under my dock. So I mounted the ladder to 18" runners, and attached those thru the decking and into the joists of the dock. All good now!

    Should (HOPEFULLY) work well.

    I have only just mounted my ladder to the front of my pontoon boat. I did test it by going down 3 steps and bouncing a little, I weigh about 200#. It didn't come off! The true test will be when the whole family is on board and we are swimming, tubing and just having fun. My oldest weighs just over 300#, so he says, and the ladder is rated for 350#. Let the test begin. Have a safe and blessed summer. One more thing, the ladder rails fill with water and makes it a bit heavy to pull out of the water. I might drill drain holes for faster evacuation of water.

    Pontoon ladder

    This is a very nice ladder, a breeze to put together. Like the universal mounting and I choose the mounting system that makes it very easy to remove as my pontoon dock is pulled in the winter. I would highly recommend this ladder to any one that is looking for one.

    This is the one!

    This ladder was very easy to put together. When I installed it on my dock, I chose to use galvanized lag screws instead of the bolts that were included - just seemed logical, plus I didn’t really want to swim under the dock to put on the bolt nuts. Easy to install, looks great, and is very sturdy.

    Aluminum dock ladder.

    Great ladder. I purchased a 3’, and 4’ ladder, and they work great off the ends of my dock. What is really nice is the quick release of the docks for winter storage.

    Very nice removable swim float ladder!

    I mounted this ladder on the floating dock outside my home. I wanted a ladder that I could completely remove, and this is the one. The slight slope to the stairs make them easier to manage than straight up and down. However I would recommend that the mounting hardware be bolted through your decking and that at least two boards be included in the support using a piece of angle iron to span both. I also secured the deck bolts with extra long screws. There is a great deal of torque placed on the mounting hardware when the ladder is in use; easily enough to pull up a deck board.
