Great heads for any kit.
The Evans hydraulic heads sound great. I bought one head for each of my drums. I have a 12 piece kit that has the red hydraulics on each one. Serves the purpose
Im playing in a classic rock band where everything is mic'd when we play out. So the Hydraulic heads work perfect for this. Being a bar band without a sound man, the Hydraulic heads give the perfect amount to gate to the overall mix of the drums.
