Believe the hype!!!! These really do wake up the tone in your bass! 100%recommended for drop tune playing A, C, D!!! Your only concern with the heavier gauges will be getting them to fit the nut by the headstock, otherwise, buy these!!!!

The Colbalts are the best! Great clarity and punch, I have bought many different kinds of strings, these last the longest and are the best Ive used. The guys in my band have even said, your bass sounds awesome after I switched to Cobalts. Go get some!

Super bright strings with kicking sustain
These strings give me a nearly Piano (at the low end) sound. There is a great sustain and playability is smooth and riffs beautifully. I cant buy another string anymore

My favorite bass strings
These are now my favorite bass strings - flatwound feel with roundwound sound. Long lasting tone, great punch and just enough top end without being too “pingy”. I now have them on 6 of my 7 basses. The only downside is that Ernie Ball doesn’t make these in super long length (over 34” scale). If they did, these strings would be on all 7 basses.
