    BLEW UP MY ENGINE!!

    I bought this valve cover for my 2011 a4. With the assistance of not one, but 2 licenced automotive technicians, as a registered apprentice, I was very confident it was all together and ready to run. After a short couple seconds the engine stalled out and cease to turn. The camshaft bearing hold downs built into the cover held far too tight (even given adequate lubrication). This in turn threw the timing off of my vehicle. After redoing the job with the original valve cover, I found over 10 new obd2 codes and the engine will not run properly. The only options for this is a pricey re-time and rebuild or a new motor. Thanks to this part that was improperly machined, I'm now spending thousands just to get my car running again. DO NOT BUY!!
