    A wonderful book to help you avoid sliding into Alzheimers or other brain related diseases

    Every adult should read this book. Alzheimers is scary, but few people understand completely how much you can do to prevent or reverse it. Prevention is better. Dr. Bredesen has reversed Alzheimers in most of his patients in his clinics by checking a number of factors and then guiding his patients to make the necessary changes and treatments. He goes deep enough into the story of how he developed his protocols and the science behind it to help us understand why the things he recommends are so important. It's actually a life or death matter as much as many people are in denial. Well worth reading.

    Don't believe the hype

    Two stars because the diet suggested in the book has some value. The pompous title and self congratulatory tone throughout suggest Snake oil salesmanship. People have been fleeced upwards of $30K by this "Doctor" and some of the "professionals" he trains to his protocol with little to no result. Wish I had done more research before spending money on the book.

    I heard Dr. Bredesen on an interview where I learned about his groundbreaking work revealing we can get rid of Alzheimer's. I wanted lots more detail in print so I could implement his protocol and findings for myself and friends. I believe Dementia & Alzheimer's disease are curable.
